王鹏，崂山国家实验室副研究员，博导。本科毕业于中国海洋大学，在美国迈阿密大学（University of Miami）获博士学位，博士后师从美国加州大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）James C. McWilliams院士。回国后历任中山大学“百人计划”副教授、崂山国家实验室副研究员，主持和参与多项国家自然科学基金项目、国家重点研发计划课题等，主要研究方向为物理海洋学、人工智能海洋学，包括波流相互作用、朗缪尔湍流及其参数化、海洋中小尺度过程等。

WANG Peng, an associate researcher at Laoshan Laboratory. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Ocean University of China and his Ph.D. from the University of Miami, USA. His postdoctoral research was conducted under Academician James C. McWilliams at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After returning to China, he served as an associate professor under the "Hundred Talents Program" at Sun Yat-sen University. He has been the principal investigator or a key participant in projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology's Key Research and Development Programs. His primary research focuses are physical and AI oceanography, including wave-current interaction, Langmuir turbulence and parameterization, (sub)mesoscale processes.
